It’s official: Narendra Modi will swear in as prime minister for a third time this Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Ahead of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary meeting, BJP leader Pralhad Joshi announced that Narendra Modi would take the oath of office as prime minister for a third straight term on Sunday at 6 p.m.
The event is expected to draw approximately 8,000 dignitaries, including world leaders including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, President Ranil Wickremesinghe of Sri Lanka, and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal of Nepal.

It is expected that Narendra Modi would take the prime minister’s oath of office for the third time on June 9. This would mark a significant turning point in his political career.
During the discussion, Rajnath Singh emphasized that the alliance with the NDA is based on commitment rather than coercion, highlighting the group’s confidence in Narendra Modi’s leadership to usher in a better future.
The resolutions were passed with the backing of prominent NDA members including Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu, and H D Kumaraswamy, allowing Narendra Modi to assume the position of prime minister for a record third time.
Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed the NDA’s commitment to building a developed India, stressing the coalition’s focus on advancement and development for the country’s future.
Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, praised Modi for his vision and execution, stating that he is the right leader for India and cautioning that he may be a significant loss if he loses this opportunity.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar blasted the Congress-led INDIA group, stating, “I will be with PM Modi at all times,” in an emphatic statement of support for Prime Minister . Kumar expressed confidence in the NDA’s future success and predicted that the opposition leaders would lose the upcoming elections.
NDA leaders planned to publicly support Prime Minister at Rashtrapati Bhavan by giving a letter of support to the President following the end of the parliamentary session.
